Safety and privacy

Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, not end-to-end encrypted. Photos and voice messages use our storage provider's standard encryption.

When the app launches, member data will be stored in the EU, on Oracle Cloud servers in Sweden.

Who can use it?

Adults only. You must be 18 or older.

Are my messages private?

Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos and voice messages use our storage provider's standard encryption. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted: the keys are held on our servers, which is what lets us act on reports. Staff can open a chat only when it is reported, and then only the recent messages saved with the report. Every opening is logged.
